I was taught to be punctual and I was inculcated good moral habits.  I was given very good all round training.  I also took part in various cultural and sporting activities.

Career Progression

My first job was with Lakozy Toyota where I worked for 2 years on contract basis and thereafter I worked with SC Ford as a Sales consultant and PDI incharge.  I am now currently working as a Sales Consultant/DSA with Nikhil Automobiles for their Renault division.

Life in Don Bosco (SJITI)

It was good.  I truly loved to study in DBCL.  My Principal, Instructors and staff of SJITI were very helpful in giving me knowledge about work, future, etc.

Career Progression

After my completion of my course.  I applied for apprenticeship at Central Railway as Mechanic.  After completion, I got to hear another training course held at Konkan Railway.  So I did my 2 years course in training with the Railways and got an opportunity to work with KRCL as Assistant Loco Pilot cum Mechanic.

Life in Don Bosco (SJITI)

Initially it was difficult to fit in as I was not able to speak Hindi as the majority speak Hindi, Luckily the staff and trainees were quite accommodative and helped me to carry on and learn Hindi.  There was a brother named Mc Enroe Lopez who actually helped me a lot in various aspects in life well as in professional and personal.  Thanks to him and to the staff in SJITI that I got a sense of responsibility and discipline which was not there in me at all.  I was not a person who would finish a task, but now thanks to SJITI, I feel I am now a complete person. I was involved in everything, this was the first college/institute in my life, that I did not miss a single day of college and got an attendance award.  I used to look forward to everything in the college.  We had a small group of trainees who were always together from all the trades and took part in all activities like sports, cultural day, annual day, projects, helping other departments I was the designated delivery boy for the college as I was the only one who had a bike and used to pick up any material that was required by the college. When I was in the 2^nd year I was elected as the head boy, but I declined it, as I felt I would not be able to do a good job.

Career Progression

After ITI I did not choose to do NCVT as I had got a placement in Godrej India Ltd. For apprenticeship.  As I wanted to join the Offshore line, as I had my brother in the Offshore line who guided me and told me what I should do.  After my ITI, I got a job at Slumburger as an Operator for a period of 2 years

I am currently working as a design executive for a renowned Company viz. Nextin Technologies My aim is to excel at what i m doing so that I too can become well known as my employer.  The training I received in SJITI helped me a lot in my career.  In just a short period of time (2 years)  today, I am drawing a good salary of around Rs.25,000/- per month and am able to take care of myself and my family.

Life in Don Bosco (SJITI)

I did my schooling in Marathi medium and was interviewed by the Principal also in Marathi.  I was very weak in English.  Therefore, I worked hard to improve my English language and due to my hard work and with the help of my instructors at St. Joseph’s ITI, I am now able to speak English fluently. ).  I took part in various cultural & sporting activities at SJITI and this helped in my overall development of myself.

Career Progression

I worked hard in my studies and due to which  I was selected during campus placements by Tapasya Engineering Pvt. Ltd., as a Trainee Draughtsman (apprenticeship)

My life in Don Bosco was very fruitful. I was given good instructions in training and was groomed for a job.  I also took part in the various cultural and sporting activities in the campus.  I was disciplined for late comings and I appreciate the same as it thought me the value of time.

My first job was with Millennium Toyota as a technician where I worked for 2 years

My 2^nd job was at Galaxy Motors (Fiat & Tata) as a PDI Incharge for 2 years

My 3^rd job was in Shreeji Ford as a Job Controller for 1 year

My 4^th job was in Madhuban Toyota as a Body shop in charge for 2 years

My current job is with Auto Hangar (Mercedes Benz) as an Asst. Body Shop Manager.
