Greetings of God’s grace, peace and love from the Salesian Community of Don Bosco Centre of Learning (DBCL), Kurla of which Don Bosco Industrial Training Institute (DBITI) was the first of four institutions established and continues to be a growing and integral part.
Together, we have been through some difficult times over the last year and a half and we are now cautiously finding a new way of living, training and working. We live with deep trust in God that with due restraint and precaution, we will be able to re-build our future by learning from our past experience. We support those whose lives and livelihoods have been badly affected due to the on-going pandemic situation.
DBITI is a vibrant and dynamic institution which stays relevant to new movements and developments and responds to the needs of the community. Through technical education it supports young people to build their lives and grow into good and productive human beings and honest citizens through Don Bosco’s caring approach and a culture of work.
Beyond doubt, DBITI is what it is today by the Providence of God expressed in the past and in the present through the great kindness of our partners, collaborators and benefactors, committed management team, dedicated principal and staff. We pride in our ex-students who are well-placed and happy in life. We devote ourselves to care of the students presently with us to inculcate good values for life.
Recently, DBITI been awarded the honour of featuring among the top three ITI’s in the State of Maharashtra. Congratulations to all who have been part and responsible for this success. We are particularly grateful and hold in great esteem our former Rector-Director, Fr Colbert da Silva who promoted quality infrastructure and allocated needed spaces for the progress of this institution.
Be apart of us and besides browsing through our website also plan a physical visit when the situation permits. Join us as we strive to continue to give our best through sacrifice and hard work to the integral development and technical education of the young people God entrusts to our care.
